This is the course most students start with. It's built for absolute beginners: you'll learn how your camera actually works, how to see and shape light, and how to compose a photo that holds attention — all explained without the jargon.
You'll work through practical, hands-on assignments at your own pace, with a tutor giving feedback on your images along the way. By the end, you'll have a small portfolio of your own work and a clear sense of the direction you want to take next, whether that's a hobby you love or the first step toward paid work.
This course is the right fit if you own a DSLR or mirrorless camera (or are ready to use one supplied as part of enrolment) and want a genuinely structured path through it, rather than piecing technique together from scattered videos.
