1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter a binding contract. By enrolling you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Our courses

NZPS delivers self-paced, tutor-supported online photography and videography courses. Course content, curriculum, and (for eligible courses) camera equipment inclusions are described on each course page and confirmed at enrolment.

Courses are delivered through our online learning platform. Access duration and support arrangements are set out on each course page and may be updated from time to time.

3. Pricing and GST

Course pricing for the New Zealand market is currently being finalised and is not yet published on this website. All prices, once published, will be shown in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and will state whether Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included. Prices may change without notice before an enrolment is accepted.

4. Enrolment and acceptance

Your enrolment request is an offer to enrol. A contract is formed only when we confirm acceptance of your enrolment in writing (by email). We may decline to accept an enrolment at our discretion, including where:

• a course is at capacity or no longer available;
• there is a pricing or description error on the website;
• we cannot verify your identity or payment details;
• the enrolment would breach any applicable law or these Terms.

If we cannot accept your enrolment, we will notify you and refund any payment already made in full.

5. Payment

Payment terms and any available flexible payment options will be confirmed at enrolment. Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

6. Access, cancellation and refunds

Because courses involve access to digital learning materials and, in some cases, physical equipment, cancellation and refund arrangements will be set out clearly at enrolment. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this website and within our courses — including text, photography, video, graphics, logos, curriculum materials, and code — is the property of NZPS or used under licence, and is protected by New Zealand and international intellectual-property law. You may view course materials for your own personal learning only. Any other use requires our written permission.

8. Acceptable use of the website

When using our website or learning platform you must not:

• infringe our or any third party’s intellectual-property rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, servers, or networks;
• use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to harvest content;
• upload malicious code or interfere with the normal operation of the website;
• submit false, misleading, or defamatory content through any form.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other law, to the extent that doing so would be unlawful. Each provision of these Terms applies only to the extent that it does not have that effect.

Subject to the rights and remedies above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or courses.

10. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at photographyschool.co.nz/terms-and-conditions. Enrolments are governed by the Terms in force at the time we accept your enrolment.
