Portrait Photography Course in Tauranga

Tauranga's portrait backdrops are coast first. Pāpāmoa and Main Beach in the last hour of light give you warm, low sun, dunes and Mauao on the horizon; Pilot Bay gives you calm water and boats; the Mauao base track gives you pōhutukawa and rock. For texture and shade, the Historic Village's heritage buildings and murals are where local photographers go at midday, and McLaren Falls Park gives you bush, water and autumn colour. Minden Lookout puts the whole harbour behind a subject at sunset.

The course asks you to direct people who are not models.
